Quiko Lori is an excellent, balanced staple food for all species of loris, bat parrots and other nectar-eating birds with very good tolerance. Mixed with water, this food corresponds to the food these birds would seek in the wild. The amount of food to be given depends on the size of the bird, its activity and the temperature of the environment (the hotter the less). In practical terms, this means that you provide the bird with as much food as it wants to eat. If you want to give fruits (as a reward) in addition to Quiko Lori, keep in mind that fruits consist mainly of water, thus reducing the mixing ratio (as indicated below).
Also use the enclosed measuring spoon to dose the food as follows:
For larger Lories = 1 part Quiko Lori with 4 parts water.
For smaller Lories = 1 part Quiko Lori with 5 parts water.
IMPORTANT: For best results, add the food to the water, stirring continuously until the powder is completely dissolved. For the health of your birds any leftovers should be disposed of daily.
